CHANNEL CONFIGURATION
The ALANN I I I (ALarm ANNunciator) is a solid state electronic logic (no microprocessor)
system that connects to any type of 'dry contact' sensor such as a pressure, level or flow
switch. When an abnormal condition is sensed, the ALANN I I I trips a
solenoid valve initiating a shutdown. It also provides a signal for connection to an
auxiliary device such as a telephone dialer or annunciator.
Solar powered with battery backup, this unit is extremely rugged and can
operate for several months without sunlight. The connection to the sensors is
supervised and an indicator LED will alert the operator should an alarm condition occur.
To reset the device, the operator need only to push the
'Reset' button to return the solenoid valve into an 'armed' condition. As soon as the
alarm clears, the ALANN I I I resets and is ready to trip when a new alarm condition is detected.
